My Story

Who is Angela T. Moore?

Integrative Health Expert, Therapist, NASM Master Trainer & Fitness Nutrition Specialist

After a childhood of neglect, abuse, trauma, and significant loss, the “journey of healing” started in the 10th grade after discovering a talent for running that led her to win a full track scholarship to a prestigious university. On the verge of flunking out, broken, lost, and falling fast, during the first year, Angela realized after a “spiritual encounter” in her dorm room that she was loved, powerful and strong, but needed to do the work to heal the broken areas of her life. Through years of intentional mental and physical work, Angela healed her mind and strengthened her body.

Now as the Founder and Owner of The Body Principle Integrative Health Organization, a NASM Master Trainer, including certifications in Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES), Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES), Fitness Nutrition Specialist (FNS), a nationally certified counselor (NCC) and a Limited Licensed Professional Counselor (LLPC), a health and wellness blog contributor for A Healthier Michigan and a radio host, Angela provides mental and physical health education and wellbeing strategies to individuals, organizations and school systems.

Counseling/Coaching

Mental health counseling provides support to individuals experiencing mental or emotional distress using a variety of therapeutic techniques. Integrative health coaching adds physical and nutritional health components.

Assessments

Integrative health assessments determine an individual's mental, nutritional, and physical health status to provide an overall baseline. Static & dynamic posture assessments identify compensations, distorted patterns, and movement impairments.
